Donations for the elderly.?
I can manage a complex that houses more than 80 on 55 in Halifax, West Yorkshire. My residents have expressed serious interest in learning about computers. I wonder if anyone knows of organizations that donate old computers to companies with a base operating system and toools MS to a good cause. The company I work for a registered charity, so teams can not provide or pay for the operating system or license MS, therefore, believe that they are pre-installed. This is a legitimate request, so serious replies only please, I can call to get more details of the organization and through messenger system. We also have a sewing club and is looking for an overlock sewing machine, we have plenty of space to accept a industrialists. Thanks as happy for all your help, if you can offer any.
Perhaps a local computer store will be able to advise you on this. Similarly, a sewing room / habidashery. Or you can contact the local council and find details of local funding bodies. There may be an existing project for this type of things. Have you thought about contacting your local radio station and ask them if they will issue an order to local people and businesses for help? It may be that there Many people with older computers or sewing machines at home that has not thought about where to take?
